Enrolled in September 1989 in the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery (New Order, tab. XVIII) at the University of Padua. On 12 October 1995 he obtained a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua, discussing a thesis entitled: “The surgical treatment of severe hallux rigidus with total Koenig prosthesis”

Having qualified for professional practice at the University of Padua in the first session of 1996, he registered in the Register of Surgeons of the Province of Padua on 19 June 1996 (n. 8124).

On 14 December 2000 he obtained the Specialization in Orthopedics and Traumatology at the University of Padua with a score of 70/70 and honours.
