Degree in Medicine and Surgery on 23 July 1991, discussing with prof. Noè Battistini’s thesis: “Analysis of the cortico-motoneuronal connection in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis: Central Motor Conduction Time and the conditioning of the motor response by Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation”, obtaining a score of 110/110.

In the second session of 1991 he obtained the qualification to practice the profession of Surgeon at the University of Siena with a score of 110/110.

On 1/29/92 he enrolled in the Register of the Medical Association of the Province of Siena.

On 10/25/95 he obtained a specialization diploma in Neurophysiopathology at the University of Siena discussing the thesis: “Localized muscular fatigue: automatic analysis of surface EMG between men and women”, obtaining a score of 70/ 70 and praise.

On 04/05/2001 at the University of Siena he obtained the Specialization in Neurology discussing the thesis: “Effect of temperature on the neuromuscular block induced by botulinum toxin type A in humans”, with a score of 50/50 with honours.

From the third year of the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery as a student and subsequently as an Internal Doctor, she attended the Clinic of Nervous and Mental Diseases, the Neurophysiopathology Operational Unit and subsequently the Neurological Clinic, carrying out healthcare, teaching and research activities.

Since January 2007 she has been personally involved in a bio-engineering/neurophysiology research project established with the Polytechnic of Turin (Prof. Roberto Merletti and Dr. Marco A. Minetto) for the study and characterization of patients affected by fasciculation syndromes and cramps. This year the study sees the participation of experts in the field of bioengineering from the University of Maribor (Dr. Ales Holobar) and the University of Aalborg (Prof. Dario Farina, director of the Sensory-Motor Integration Laboratory). This collaboration has already produced scientific material, partly published and partly in the process of being published in indexed international scientific journals.

He has followed refresher courses and specific training for the introduction and use of the latest findings in the field of immunological therapies (monoclonal antibodies) in the treatment of particular forms of demyelinating diseases.

He carried out the corporate project for the creation of a multidisciplinary clinic dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, established in collaboration with the Neurosurgery and Orthopedics SOCs of the ULSS 18 company in Rovigo.
She was appointed by the Director of the Neuroscience Department responsible for the creation of the WEB page of the Neuroscience Department of ULSS 18, which was completed and can be consulted online.

A collaboration has recently begun with the Medical Department – SOC of Internal Medicine – of the ULSS 18 Company and with the University of Padua (Medical Clinic IV) for the study of MTHFR mutations in patients suffering from non-cardio ischemic stroke -embolic.

He has collaborated for many years with internationally renowned specialists in the neurophysiological field (Prof. Erik Stalberg – Uppsala University (Sweden) Prof. Joe Jabre, Boston University (Massachusset, USA), for the study and dissemination of clinical neurophysiology and of the instrumental techniques related to it.

Thanks to these collaborations he created, as Secretary and Treasurer of the National Organizing Committee and Scientific Secretariat, the “International SFEMG Course and Xth Quantitative EMG Conference”, an event of international importance which was held in Venice from 6 to 10 May 2009 .
